    Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone

    • Under the white color, it is significantly cheaper and offers different recording styles, but the recording itself may not be as optimal
    • If you're recording in an imperfect recording environment (which the vast majority of people are), this really allows you to get very good audio without worrying too much about acoustics
    • In almost no time at all I was getting crisp and amazing voice recording out of this mic using the usb connection
    • Played it back and loved what I heard as it was the best recording I've done to date thanks to this microphone
    • That said, you still need to speak loudly to have a proper recorded sound and use a foam around the microphone to reduce sensitive "tsss" or "sshh".
    • There's no question the audio recording quality of this unit is stunning, and perhaps one of the best recording devices for the price ever.
    • This is a nice microphone that offers clear recording and easy operation.
    • I can't speak to how well this records for home music recording; you may consider going with a more professional mic and a high-quality interface
    • Bottom line, the versatility of this mic makes for a great recording experience, I haven't, and won't, attempt singing voice or instruments, but ambient noise and talking voice have been stellar
    • It provides clear recording with neutral tone
    • My son enjoys recording and this is a very good microphone he said
    • Having usb and xlr both is a real plus, but mainly nice to have a good recording range with nice bass response.
    • Again, fantastic audio recording
    • Perfect size and audio recording for the extremely cheap price.
    • Great microphone and great recording quality
    • Great recording quality, solid construction.
    • It only records static even though the drivers were successfully downloaded and I followed the instructions
    • Slight delay when recording
    • amazing bass and recording
    • This microphone is great for any amateur podcaster or let's player, since you're probably not going to have access to a quiet recording studio
    • Pros:Great sound when recording or on Skype calls and live streams
    • All I need to record fairly professional quality audio on my iPad mini (with camera adapter & free recording app)
    • The option to plug in your headphones and listen while your recording is awesome.
    • recording is excellent.
    • i did pick up a dragonpad doo-dad to block out the "ps" and "bs" and sounds of breathing into the mic. and recording #2 was much better than #1
    • Excellent recording quality via USB.The stand is a joke and should be removed from the product offering altogether
    • Suits my needs for podcast recording very well
    • Good microphone with stand, produces clear sound recording especially for voice overs, Podcast etc
    • Far exceeded my expectations, and has crystal-clear recording, even without a pop filter
    • Good clear recording mic
    • My only gripe at this point is that the analog signal level is fairly low (as is typical for a dynamic mic), so I have to turn my preamps up to get a reasonable recording level, which adds a little hiss
    • I had a little bit of a learning curve on how to get the best sound out of the ATR2100, but since I got it working right with Garageband it has been smooth recording.
    • But that gripe aside, the sound quality is great, and it only needs minor processing to clean up post recording.
    • Makes your voice sound more like you and less like a cheap recording
    • great sound - perfect for easy recording
    • i use it for mostly recording singing and music and as long as your somewhere quiet, you always get a clear quality that mimics actual studio time
    • You have to be really close to it to reach decent recording levels.
    • I was so excited to receive this microphone because I could finally start recording my music but now, not even 3 months later, the place to plug the microphone into the usb cord is broken
    • Not good when recording
    • It can still pick you up (kind of) from a foot away or so, but don't expect to use this at that distance and get a good recording
    • When recording using a pop filter and in a recording area, the pickup was very good and provided a nice warm recording of my voice
