You can always buy a better stand, such as an overhead boom, later when you have saved some money and you know that this podcasting hobby thing is something you really enjoy and plan to do for a while

Initially it worked alright, other than the incredible poorly engineering stand continually causes the mic to tip over.

I would suggest buying a better stand.

The stand that came with mine consists of two pieces that should be able to be screwed together however, the threads don't align and are different sizes so the pieces just fall apart
