    Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone

    • You can always buy a better stand, such as an overhead boom, later when you have saved some money and you know that this podcasting hobby thing is something you really enjoy and plan to do for a while
    • The stand that comes with this microphone is THE WORST STAND EVER CREATED BY MAN
    • Initially it worked alright, other than the incredible poorly engineering stand continually causes the mic to tip over.
    • I would suggest buying a better stand.
    • Now the stand has some issues
    • The stand that it comes with is complete junk which is why I subtracted one star
    • The stand, however, is awful
    • The stand for the mic itself is kinda poor, but I think that's to be expected.
    • Another down side is the mic stand (which is the only other thing the mic comes with, besides the USB chord); the stand is not able to stand upright while supporting the weight of the mic and pop filter combined, consequently leading to everything falling over and the stand breaking
    • As long as you don't want to move the mic, the stand included works great (if you do move the stand, though, it causes noises), and the cables included (USB and XLR) are great
    • The stand is also quite cheap and flimsy, but I bought a good stand since I knew this already
    • Given the fact that you need to be within about two inches of the mic to get quality sound, the included stand strikes me as a little small
    • The stand it comes with is solid, but plastic
    • They seem to work fine, but one of the packages was missing the desk stand that was supposed to come with it
    • The mic, is great, the stand is crap.
    • My only complaint would be the stand that comes with it, if you don't already have a microphone boom arm you probably should snag one up for around 15 USD.
    • so I recommend a boom stand to get it off of the desk and near the sound source
    • The microphone stand is awful, thanks to the
    • Nice product, shipped quickly, love the little stand, and it picks up voices really well; so far I've used it with my Dragon
    • The stand is crappy
    • I love the little stand it comes with too
    • The mic stand that came with the mic has issues with the mount, positioning and so on
    • The mic stand is crap, it can barely stand up on its
    • It comes with a USB cord, an XLR cable, as well,as a very handy desk-top stand
    • The stand that comes with this mic is basically cheap junk
    • Though, to be honest, the stand isn't the best
    • The included stand is a joke
    • its great, the stand though is really cheap.. it broke in the first 5 minutes of figuring out how to put
    • The mic works fine but the crappy tripod stand that comes
    • The stand still isn't perfect, but it doesn't fall over as easily, and this is still a great deal on a professional-quality microphone, which will fit any standard-sized mic stand.
    • Just keep in mind the cord is not very long and the stand is not that stable
    • the stand is a joke
    • I have a nice boom microphone stand and the mic stand adapter fits onto both the microphone and the boom stand perfectly.
    • And although I am careful with the microphone and don't usually carry it around, it appears to be plenty sturdy and has survived a small drop or two from a loose stand to the table just fine
    • its great, the stand though is really cheap.. it broke in the first 5 minutes of figuring out how to put
    • The mics build quality is absolutely excellent, but the stand that it comes with is a little cheap so you might want to pick up a alternate mic stand, but I rather have better sound quality than stand quality
    • A lot of other reviewers have complaints about the “flimsy” stand, but I do not see so much wrong with it
    • The stand that comes with is convenient but not super secure; it doesn't grip the mic really tightly but if you don't bump the desk or mic it will be fine.
    • The included stand and clip are cheap but also very portable
    • The reason for 4 stars is that the stand that comes with this microphone really isnt the best of the best
    • When I put the mic on and turned the top the rings stripped so I had to put tape on it, if you get this then you should probably buy a better stand for it.
    • I super glued this piece in place, and the stand feels much more stable
    • Its good in shape and size, bit heavy, the stand is not really good but at least it come with stand, better to buy stand, the quality good too.
    • I don't like the mic stand it came
    • The stand that came with the microphone is mediocre at best
    • The stand is also quite cheap and flimsy, but I bought a good stand since I knew this already
    • Produces great sound quality, the stand to keep it held up is fragile and breaks easily
    • It came with usb and xlr cable-Sounds better than my blue yetiCONS-Smells like nuclear waste (the smell is gone after a couple days)-The mic stand is a joke
    • , I like the little tripod stand, and the fact that I can also use this as an analog mic with an external amp if I so choose (remote broadcasts, etc.).
    • either.)The seller of this mic should list the diameter of the microphone to make shopping for a mic stand easier.
    • Only issue though is the mini stand that it came with
    • Outside of that it is an overall awesome buy and I would recommend getting it, maybe buy a better stand for it.
    • And the stand is fine - IF you know how to configure it correctly
    • The stand fits pretty well and doesn't come out easily
    • Looks awesome as well.4 stars only because the mic stand is terrible
    • The stand that comes with is convenient but not super secure; it doesn't grip the mic really tightly but if you don't bump the desk or mic it will be fine.
    • but I could have foregone the XLRM cord for a better stand...even though at some point I'll buy an articulated mic arm with an isolation cage
    • The stand that came with mine consists of two pieces that should be able to be screwed together however, the threads don't align and are different sizes so the pieces just fall apart
    • The stand is really cheap and might fall now and then and break like mine
    • The included stand is absolute garbage.
    • My only complaint is the stand.
    • I'm probably going to end up buying a nicer stand for it.
    • In conclusion, the mic is perfect for an in-home studio on a budget, but I would recommend buying a sturdier mic stand so you don't run the risk of breaking a wonderful mic.
    • The stand is flimsy and a metal spring holding it together came out when I was trying to assemble it
    • the stand is not especially strong or tall, but it does the job and holds the mic at an adjustable angle on a stady tripod
    • Luv it but need a better stand
    • The stand that came with it is a bit flimsy
    • But yourself a decent mic stand for $10 and a pop filter for $3
    • If you by this, I would recommend a new stand.
    • Get a better stand, but otherwise it's good.
    • Great sound quality (better than the Snowball in my opinion), but the stand it comes with is a little weak
    • The stand could be better
    • Great mic with adjustable stand
    • Love the mic and also the mic stand
    • The stand broke after a few uses not very strong
    • great shipping, it arrived fast and in great condition, configuration fast and quality of sound improved, i'm using it with windows 10 in zoom conferences, you can connect usb or xlr and the headphones on the mic it also has a volumen control next to the connectors, the stand is great to use on a table
    • The stand that is included is rather poor quality and the mic can fall out rather easily so a separate higher quality stand might be worth considering
    • Though, the mic stand that comes with it is not strong enough to hold the heavy mic itself up in some position
    • Mini stand is cheap
    • While the stand isn't the sturdiest -- it's easy to knock over because it's top-heavy with the mic on it -- it's enough to get you started
    • Stand is not the best and a bit low quality , but it's still a free stand
    • The blue light is very bright and distracting (you can just put a rubber band on it) and the stand is bad and tips over if bumped (you can be more careful or get a stand for it)
    • Thanks to the flimsy stand, the mic fell, pushing the USB jack INTO THE MIC
    • I got the pop filter, shock mount and mic stand to go along with it (highly recommend pop filter and stand
    • The mic stand is not too big that intimidate my guests when I do my pod cast interviews!
    • The stand was absolutely awful, and it kept tipping over so that something came loose inside and the mesh got bent when it fell off the desk
    • But having to buy a proper mic stand AND a USB to XLR connector, which is easily another
    • It comes with its own table top stand
    • Only complaints are that the stand scares me (not very sturdy), and that the overall gain is pretty low, so you end up having to boost it a lot in your project.
    • The only downfall is the stand and no mute button
    • Most reviews that you'll see about this microphone say that the stand is crap, but I reckon if you're just going to use it on your desk and you might have a few other things on your desk, the little stand works fine
    • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwqG4Scp3KYThe only thing which i don't like about it is that the stand which come in the box is very poor.
    • The stand is awful
    • the stand they give you is cheap and its a lil bit sensitive)
    • If you want a better stand, buy a metal one separately with your purchase of this mic
    • the stand they give you is cheap and its a lil bit sensitive)
    • Unfortunately I'm not particularly fond of the included stand
    • Most reviews that you'll see about this microphone say that the stand is crap, but I reckon if you're just going to use it on your desk and you might have a few other things on your desk, the little stand works fine
    • The only bad thing about this microphone is the stand is very weak
    • The tripod can tip over if pulled to hard, if you put it on a flat even surface and don't jostle it, the stand will be fine.
    • Here are some points:The stand is crap
    • Good quality, easy install and the stand made it easy to use
    • They are correct, but it does get you started until you can spend $15.00 for a solid desk stand.
    • The stand it comes with is terrible but the mic itself is awesome!
    • The stand is just fine for me
    • The only thing that I hate is that the stand is pretty flimsy and would barely grip on to the mic, so I zip tied together and it made it a bit better, also the cable is absolute garbage, at least the one I received using it after a while if I just bump into it with my hand the sound will completely die until I take it out and insert it back in
    • The stand that comes with it is very poorly made, and does not work well at all
    • The stand that comes with it is cheap, cheap, cheap
    • the stand picks up ANY vibrations - have your arm resting on the desk
    • Get a better stand
    • It has a sturdy stand, easy to grip, easy to install through USB.
    • , It wasn't appealing to have this nice solid mic and a cheap plastic stand, another thing I noticed is that if dropped the top part of the mic will open up
    • However, the stand that it comes with is very confusing to put together, is *extremely* fragile
    • The only downside is the short stand but that is understandable
    • I have to use a different stand because the original one keeps falling over
    • Other than that, it's a fantastic USB mic, not perfect as it is
    • Been using this to stream for a while now, as well as using it to talk to friends online as well as in game chat when I play video games
    • I use it for acoustic recording, vocals/singing, as well as for YouTube
    • The volume buttons seem to work as it shows a volume bar on my monitor when making adjustments.
    • I'll write a different review for that item, as it's not as great as I thought, but as far as compatibility, it fits
    • I bought this mic to use for recording voice overs for tutorial videos/lessons as well as for giving live webinars
    • Well it worked as long as you held the cord a very specific way
    • I own and operate an internet radio station with a few DJs and one of them recommended this to me - as I do a talk show myself
