They sounded good but something was just "not right" - lack of base detail and a somewhat muffled sound

These are expensive for what you get, but they do improve the sound of my AudioEngine A5 speakers that are sitting on a ceramic tile floor

They improve what was already a great sound a lot

These do help keep the speakers from making a vibrating sound while sitting on my desk and the aiming of the speakers slightly upwards points the sound directly at my head instead of my chest

So, expect to be initially disappointed when you open the box, but if you don't have speakers mounted at head height, or for some reason you don't love black ash but still want decent sound, these stands allow you to tuck your speakers away while reaping the benefits of a simple angle adjustment

It is a great product, does the job at creating a placement angle for your speakers/TIP: If you have a glass desktop: I cut some black foamy sheets and stacked and glued 7, placed the stacked foamy under the stands and the sound is much better now.

so I get the best sound.
