Then it suddenly connects with steady green link light, and video works very well for as long as I'm watching TV
Small, compact devices just a little bigger than a deck of playing cards, decent manual, supports RS-232, useful LED status lights, and more.
The units power up quickly, with both showing a steady power light almost immediately
Once the connection is stable the power and link LED lights will be on steady, the status LED will blink, and the HDCP LED will either be on or off depending on the signal having HDCP or not

I got a blue screen when connecting to the tv through the extender but when the extender was bypassed the picture was fine
I turned on the TV and changed the source to HDMI and there was the best picture we’ve ever had here in the mountains
1080p now works perfectly, 4K nearly so - we occasionally get a flash, but except for that, picture is amazing.
Picture was very grainy with my FireTV unless I set it to 720, and wouldn't even transmit the signal from my DirecTV receiver since DirecTV was set to auto negotiate the resolution

Works great when it works has awesome picture quality but other times it don't work have to keep unplugging and plugging back in until it works can get very frustrating
In any case, the extender so far gives me excellent picture quality
Quality is great so far and no delay.
The sound quality was excellent with no echo between the devices.

With that in mind, I’m writing this review from the perspective of someone who has seen plenty of cheap HDMI extenders that were not HDCP capable/compliant wreaking havoc in distributed audio video systems

I'm using this extender on a 4K Sony TV over 100' of cat5e and everything works flawlessly.
Bought a cheaper extender from a different manufacturer originally, but it idn't work with my devices connectedat 1080p

Watching TV via my Tivo (Comcast cable) at 720p or 1080i worked perfectly, but at 1080p, (roku, youtube, blu-ray, etc), I would get flashes of static on the screen every several seconds - pretty annoying

Even with the failure I'm still giving it a 5 star rating - sometimes things break and with the great support, it gets the high rating.

I am bumping this up to 3 stars overall, although the extender didn't work for me over the distance claimed (I tried 100 feet) the customer service from AV Access is 5 stars, they were very proactive about contacting me to try to help solve the problem
The only thing I'm not fond of, and it is not enough to make me knock down a star, is having all the ports on one side
