Reviews around light (4.03 of 5)

  • Then it suddenly connects with steady green link light, and video works very well for as long as I'm watching TV
  • Small, compact devices just a little bigger than a deck of playing cards, decent manual, supports RS-232, useful LED status lights, and more.
  • The units power up quickly, with both showing a steady power light almost immediately
  • Once the connection is stable the power and link LED lights will be on steady, the status LED will blink, and the HDCP LED will either be on or off depending on the signal having HDCP or not
  • n’t have to worry about finding TV’s with coax cable connections

Reviews around picture (3.80 of 5)

  • n’t have to worry about finding TV’s with coax cable connections
  • I got a blue screen when connecting to the tv through the extender but when the extender was bypassed the picture was fine
  • I turned on the TV and changed the source to HDMI and there was the best picture we’ve ever had here in the mountains
  • 1080p now works perfectly, 4K nearly so - we occasionally get a flash, but except for that, picture is amazing.
  • Picture was very grainy with my FireTV unless I set it to 720, and wouldn't even transmit the signal from my DirecTV receiver since DirecTV was set to auto negotiate the resolution

Reviews around feature (3.80 of 5)

  • The HDCP 2.2 is a critical feature and a big deal if you want to use 4k and extend it.
  • n’t have to worry about finding TV’s with coax cable connections
  • That said, the features are outstanding and nice to have the capabilities over only one Cat6 or better Ethernet cable
  • I'm not using it for Ethernet yet, but I tested that feature and it works fine.
  • Favorite feature is that ONLY the sender needs to connect to an outlet -- the receiver gets its power using Power over Ethernet (PoE)!

Reviews around extender (3.78 of 5)

  • With that in mind, I’m writing this review from the perspective of someone who has seen plenty of cheap HDMI extenders that were not HDCP capable/compliant wreaking havoc in distributed audio video systems
  • Awesome HDMI extender with high quality video and audio
  • I'm using this extender on a 4K Sony TV over 100' of cat5e and everything works flawlessly.
  • Bought a cheaper extender from a different manufacturer originally, but it idn't work with my devices connectedat 1080p

Reviews around instruction (3.61 of 5)

  • n’t have to worry about finding TV’s with coax cable connections
  • With better instructions and clear labels on the components, this product could be excellent instead of good.
  • The instructions could be much clearer on how setup the IR emitter
  • I did find the instructions useful to decipher the 4 front panel lights

  • My first unit worked great for a couple months then failed.
  • I originally purchased this unit in January 2018 and it worked great.
  • After much troubleshooting we thought the suspect of dropped signals we were experiencing was due to a bad unit.

  • With this version my old HDMI over Ethernet adapters simply stopped working!

Reviews around flash (1.00 of 5)

  • I recently bought a 4k Roku, and when I set it to output at 4K, the static issue was much worse - flashes of static on screen constantly.
  • I recently bought a 4k Roku, and when I set it to output at 4K, the static issue was much worse - flashes of static on screen constantly.
  • Watching TV via my Tivo (Comcast cable) at 720p or 1080i worked perfectly, but at 1080p, (roku, youtube, blu-ray, etc), I would get flashes of static on the screen every several seconds - pretty annoying

Reviews around star (1.00 of 5)

  • Even with the failure I'm still giving it a 5 star rating - sometimes things break and with the great support, it gets the high rating.
  • n’t have to worry about finding TV’s with coax cable connections
  • I am bumping this up to 3 stars overall, although the extender didn't work for me over the distance claimed (I tried 100 feet) the customer service from AV Access is 5 stars, they were very proactive about contacting me to try to help solve the problem
  • The only thing I'm not fond of, and it is not enough to make me knock down a star, is having all the ports on one side
