The front, back, and interior of the binders are covered with clear plastic allowing you to modify the appearance without writing or permanently marking the cover

One thing I would have liked would have been protective acid-free plastic sheet protectors to place at the first and last of the archived photos for easier turning of pages.

You can "customize" the front and back covers and spine by slipping sheets of paper under the clear plastic outer covers

The problem is that the plastic is very brittle

They have clear covers on front and back, as well as on the binder edge

As the item photos show, with EZ-D rings the slanted portion has a gentle curve in it rather than being straight, and there is a less abrupt transition from the slanted right-hand portion to the semi-cicular left-hand portion of the rings, making page-turning almost as easy as with regular round rings while still allowing the binder to hold more pages than round ring binders of the same size
