I don't think these binders will replace the cheaper binders because of the great price differences
If the price is right it is a good binder just don't expect it to last long.
Once again, my trustworthy Amazon.com delivered a high-quality product at perfect price point and the product was delivered earlier than expected which is always wonderful!
The rings are strong, the tabs to open them are sturdy and easy to use
the rings work great, one touch and they are open or closed (only has tab on one side to open and close) but the binder feels cheaply made so the reason for the 3 stars
The binders are made for heavy use thus the premium easy opening tab.
The binders are made for heavy use thus the premium easy opening tab
It's so easy that a preschooler can work the tab to open
Though it is nice to have an easy-open feature, I'm not certain that alone justifies the higher price for this versus a standard binder.
I love the "One Touch" feature of these as they are so much easier to open.
The easy open, one touch rings are the reason I bought this binder and I still love that feature.
As the item photos show, with EZ-D rings the slanted portion has a gentle curve in it rather than being straight, and there is a less abrupt transition from the slanted right-hand portion to the semi-cicular left-hand portion of the rings, making page-turning almost as easy as with regular round rings while still allowing the binder to hold more pages than round ring binders of the same size
The 'One Touch' tab opener is a decent feature but this has nothing to do with strength or durability.
This time they dramatically changed the design of the binder, without changing the Part Number (79-195).My shipment of 10 binders had some manufactured in February with glossy covers, and the rest manufactured in June with a very coarse matte cover all around and a very loose front cover pocket that flaps after putting in the title sheet
I love the two pockets on the inside front and back covers.
Inside, on each side, are two clear pockets sleeves to keep
The outside of the binder has clear plastic pockets to be used for individualization on both covers and the spine
Third, it has four transparent pockets - two on the inside of each cover.
The outside of the binder has clear plastic pockets to be used for individualization on both covers and the spine
The problem is that the plastic is very brittle
The clear plastic on the front of the binder cracked and split off two of them, and the plastic wrapping the cardboard backing is cracked and rapidly deteriorating on the bottom of all 3
Fairly sturdy construction with clear plastic outside to insert your own cover pages
They have clear covers on front and back, as well as on the binder edge
On the inside, there are two clear insert covers on both the front and back
I like the large front and back covers so that dividers can be used without them sticking out the side of the binder.
The front cover is crystal clear, whereas other brands have "textured" or "grainy" covers
You can "customize" the front and back covers and spine by slipping sheets of paper under the clear plastic outer covers

The rings are flat to the left so that papers lie flat once you open the binder and move them over
The binder is not the Avery binder as advertised but the binder is still basically the same because it is 4 inches in thickness and has the easy one touch EZD locking ring.
Most of the binder is wonderful, but the three rings are weak and pop open too easily
The Avery Heavy-Duty View Binder has a nice ring system
