On the down side, even though I filled out the labels at night and didn't use any of them until the next morning, and even though I used a permanent marker as directed, the writing smeared a bit when I smoothed the labels onto the tags of two of my boys' jackets
-
I've found that if I press and rub directly with my finger, the permanent marker smudges a bit because it takes a bit of time to set on the plastic surface of the label
-
It's OK on plastic but after two washes it gets worn out and begins to peel and ink smudges a bit
-
When they got home from school, I saw the writing had smeared even a bit more (presumably from rubbing against their shirts as they wore them)
-
The only thing I was disappointed with is that even when I waited 24 hours after writing on them before sticking them on anything, the ink still smeared just a bit
-
The ink wore odd or smudged a bit
-
Also even if I let the marker completely dry, it smears a tiny bit when I press the label onto the fabric.

I was a bit skeptical at first but these labels stay on almost any fabric (I even put it on sherpa) and it lasted through the wash and dryer

I love them b/
