I was looking for an easy way to label my kids' clothing for school to ensure items would not get lost
I have also tried other clothing labels and have not found a successful way to label clothes without writing on the fabric or taking time to sew in a tag
Super easy and a very fast way to label every kind of fabric.
I would recommend these labels as an easy an affordable way to label items for kids daycare and school.
These are great for fabric that you can't iron a label onto, like thin mesh track shorts -- learned that one the hard way :( .I haven't yet spoken to my son to find out how the labels are holding up, but I figure if they las ta couple of washes to get him through camp, the money will have been well spent!
They don't seem to irritate my son, but then again I stuck them to the inside of the jacket, hat and mittens
Was looking for something soft that wouldn't irritate my son's neck
Well, the very first day I sent my son to school with 2 labels securely attached (to his new gloves), he only managed to come home with one still attached
My son became addicted to white noise from sleeping in our room (my husband has to sleep with the fan on)
Most of my son's jackets and hoodies are darker colors, and black permanent marker doesn't show up on them very well
I bought them especially for dark colored clothes that permanent marker won't work on.
I wish there were some that were bright colors, but white works for most.
One of the labels was applied to a white part of overall dark colored shirt, and after I washed the shirt with other dark clothes, I could see some darker colored fuzz stuck to the edge of the label

On the down side, even though I filled out the labels at night and didn't use any of them until the next morning, and even though I used a permanent marker as directed, the writing smeared a bit when I smoothed the labels onto the tags of two of my boys' jackets

I love them b/
I was a bit skeptical at first but these labels stay on almost any fabric (I even put it on sherpa) and it lasted through the wash and dryer
When they got home from school, I saw the writing had smeared even a bit more (presumably from rubbing against their shirts as they wore them)
I had some issues with the ink smearing even after waiting a reasonable amount of time (even 24 hours for one label) before adhering it to the fabric lunch box
The second time the ink smeared right off on my finger and a tissue with light pressure pretty much made the words unreadable
I tried two different black sharpies and the ink smears right off the labels.
Also, after pleanty of washings, the stickers are still intact and I can read them as clear as when I wrote on them!
