Unless you are using one of the large labels, you will need a FINE-TIPPED permanent marker to write with
-
Just use a good permanent marker and then you are good to go
-
but that's Sharpie marker's fault, the labels will be intact and perfectly glued to the fabric!
-
You write on them with a permanent marker (fine tip works best), allow the ink to set, and then press firmly for a few seconds to adhere them to the fabric
-
I had no problem fitting my boys' first and last names on any of the labels since I was writing with an ultra-fine tip marker
-
These labels do work well- use a permanent marker as per their instructions (ball point pen does not work well) and apply only on certain materials (not leather, etc.) per their label
-
Wrote on them with a fine Sharpie marker.
-
I used ultra-fine Sharpie permanent markers on these to write my boys' names
-
I will say I used an extra fine marker and it bled just a tad on the label, but not enough to make it unreadable
-
Use permanent marker and no worries through the wash.
-
I just use a black sharper marker
-
The permanent marker smudges off after a single wearing, and the labels fall off after two or three uses, leaving behind a gross, sticky residue.
-
It would get 5 stars except that it really works best with fine point markers.
-
:) Make sure that you have a permanent marker as you can't really write on them with a ball point pen, and washable markers, well...you know, wash off.
-
These are easy to print on with a fine permanent marker and really do stick through washes.
-
The marker doesn't smear on it when you first write on it either.
-
not all markers work well, some will fade rapidlly.
-
Even though the surface is slick, the marker didn't smudge when I ran my finger over
-
They take permanent marker easily, but it will smear until dry as the surface is somewhat slick.
-
Update, these labels continue to remain attached, however, I want to add that the Sharpie Extreme Marker has been the best marker that I have tried so far, both on these labels, and directly on the clothing.
-
Sharpie fine point doesn't work.. only the regular markers.
-
I used a permanent marker to write on the labels, and that worked very well
-
Get a fine point permanent marker because it will bleed slightly.
-
good but make sure you have a fine tip marker to write on
-
Permanent marker works best
-
I left the permanent marker alone for several minutes, and it still smeared when I affixed.
-
As suggested, I used a sharp thin point permanent marker and it worked great on these labels.
-
I used a fine tip Sharpie marker and let ink on labels dry 24 hours before placing on clothing and washing
-
Label only with fine tip permanent marker
-
The marker on that one was smeared too.
-
Make sure to use a good permanent marker like a Sharpie.
-
used a permanent marker, but smears after wash
-
Just double check that your marker is permanent and your good to go.
-
Marker didn't smear when attached to clothing.
-
The permanent markers wipe right off of these:/ junk
-
I recommend using a good, permanent marker for writing on the label.
-
Used a permanent marker as recommended and the labels and writing have both held up well.
-
Also, after pleanty of washings, the stickers are still intact and I can read them as clear as when I wrote on them!
