• Reviews around lead (2.18 of 5)

Aviation aluminum Mechanical Pencil, magnetic control Pencil, Multi-functional Pencil, CNC machined Pencil, 2.0mm, 2B (silver)

    • My issues with this pencil is that when the tip is tightened, even just a little too hard, it will break the lead
    • The lead breaks constantly and the ring doesn't always move the lead down
    • I’m hoping it’s just poor quality lead.
    • The lead breaks easily and I have to load or feed new leads continuously
    • In other words, to expose the same amount of lead while writing, this pencil has a longer unsupported lead length.
    • If you try to cinch down the retainer screw to stop this, it breaks the lead
    • The tip of the pencil is what you unscrew to give the lead more slack, and then you use the magnet (little silver band) to adjust how much lead you want to come out
    • The lead breaks very fast and often.
    • The shape and size of the holder don't work with my good lead pointer.
    • Really like the sturdy thicker lead
    • Hopefully I get stronger leads as free otherwise this product is a big failure
    • so it wont crack the lead but that causes it to slide back into the body of the pencil
    • There is no need to sharpen like an ordinary pencil and the lead doesn't break easily like the mechanical pencils you press on the top
    • The fat lead leaves a line more akin to a carpenter pencil which is just what I was after
    • the pencil feels nice in your hand but the lead is a pain. if you tighten the tip too much so it is secure and doesn't slide back into the pencil, it breaks the lead and you have to start all over sharpening it
    • Lead keeps falling out
    • The lead keeps falling back into the body of the pencil when ever I try to retract it, breaking the lead
    • Worked really well at first but the lead easily cracks and breaks if you tighten the tip cap even slightly too much, wasting a good piece of it
    • The main issue is the lead is only supported at the ends
    • You unscrew the front nib, and use the magnetic ring to adjust the lead position, then screw the nib back in place, which holds the lead nice and secure for writing/drawing
    • Harder leads would be good also
    • However, despite the lead looking horrifyingly dull, the sharpener works quite well, despite its absolutely minute size
    • If the lead didn't break every time I tighten the tip I'd easily give this 5 stars.
    • so when this pencil travels in my bag the lead usually breaks off and then has to be sharpened before use.
    • They are a little more expensive then some other lead holders, but if you plan on using them a lot as I do
    • It's a decent lead holder, simple design with a cool magnetic feature but other than that the design is boring.
    • Wish ListRelease a better lead sharpener which is very unlikely or redesign your pen to work with standard 2mm sharpener that are available now !
