A very cool idea, but the magnetic ring continuously re-positions down the pencil as the lead is used up.
While this pencil has a beautiful design and is a great idea, the practicality of the design is where it is flawed
I have to say, when I first saw this pencil on amazon, I was really impressed at how sleek it looked as well as how cool the idea of the magnet moving the lead up and down inside.
Cool idea but back to the drawing board to improve functionality

i am hoping I will love the way it works as much as I love the way it looks.

The fat lead leaves a line more akin to a carpenter pencil which is just what I was after
You'd think it was OK, because a sharpener is included, but it's not really very good at getting the razor sharp lines
I was weary of a 2.0mm "mechanical" pencil, but this is fairly versatile - I can use it to make very sharp thin lines or for broad shading
The clean high tech line of the pencil is a visual pleasure.

A little hard to get used to loading and adjusting lead, but this is a nice quality product

I understand that $9 (lightning deal) isn’t a basis to expect exceptional quality, but it’s double the cost of a good traditional (plastic) mechanical pencil

Quality is a bit less cool than I expected - the picture indicates a matte metal whereas the item is really shiny

If you want a 2mm lead holder with some heft that can take more of a beating than a plastic bodied drop clutch typical, this is certainly a great contender for a lot less than some of the big names.
The only drawback for me is the size of the pencil lead -- 2.0 mm -- it's just a bit thicker than I typically like for note-taking
Very generous, it came with 2 finish metal rings: Chrome & Gold finish, the shaft is matte black, looks very fancy!Came with nice small fancy sharpener, which could be useful if you have time to waste!Cons:2mm mechanical pencils are usually used for manual drafting even before Frank Lloyd Wright, but for whatever reason, the designer of this pen ignored to use of the standard 2mm sharpeners which was set up probably 100 or more years ago by craftsman

If you are a fidgeter, like me, the magnet slips out of place without affecting the lead “when the tip is tightened” and will slide the length of the pencil without falling off either end.
A strong magnet may fix this issue, but the weight might become a problem afterwards
