With all the unfortunate people getting their cars ripped off when warming them up, I thought this would be a great deterrent

I bought this due to the remote start, it is nice to have my car pre warmed or pre cooled before driving off into the world, the car had no security system before and due to the crime rate rising I needed something

One of the nice features is the ability to drive up to a location that you have to make a quick stop, and before turning off the car, hitting the remote which now keeps the car running without the key...great for keeping the car warm / cold without someone being able to steal the car

Domelight supervision (VERY handy), Active/Passive alarm arming (locks car and arms alarm after 30 sec - 1 min), remote start parking timer

It has become a great luxury being able to warm up the car with this and having the peace of mind of the alarm is nice

It's always nice going out to warm car when it cold outside

Although, I didn't know that until I went out and found my car just sitting there cold with the radio on and the heater blowing cold air and the engine NOT running

I just needed a basic alarm to protect my car

When the remote starter learned the tachometer, the car started up like a dream

I can set off my alarm by slapping a window, bumping the car, slamming the door after it is armed, putting the car in gear, pressing the brake pedal, opening any door, turning a key in the ignition, turning on the dome light, etc

If I leave the car in gear, the remote reads "inhibited" and won't start the car

My car didn't have any alarm but did have a remote entrance, so I still needed the bypass kit
