Very clear and picture quality is better than I thought it would be from other cameras I had used in the pass

Seems like it's going to work out just fine.~ Video quality is actually better than expected (my Pioneer screen is probably even limiting the quality)

Display is like looking at the screen of my old Canon point and shoot but still a decent quality overall and definitely not HD or even close to it.
