It's durable and even cuts itself off when not in use so it doesn't drain your battery

Seems to kill the battery in my 2005 G6 if I let the car sit for a couple days without starting it, which is a bummer because I really liked it otherwise.

I believe the internal battery is dead which is inaccessible.

The really great part about this reader though, is that after it dried out for a few months, now it works as before
