I opened and re-closed the cap, cleared the codes and restarted the car

I used it to clear the check engine light after it came on from having a loose gas cap.

I bought the BAFX CEL reader and sure enough, simply P0445 (vacuum or fuel line leak or loose gas cap) and no other codes shown.

I used Bluetooth connection and once my tablet recognized the Bafx Reader it connected to Car Doc and everything worked as it should.
