Another set works great but has a junky all plastic belt clip with no spring at all.

These inexpensive "walkie-talkies" work surprising well.

Its staicky on 3, but all other 15 channels work really well.

Earpiece is quite simple and leaves a little to be desired {think of an earbud with a mic remote threaded through a curved piece to go behind your ear}, but at this price it is what i expected and it does work well with clear reception and transmission.

Good audio and scan feature work better than uv-82c

One set works great easy to read channel knob with white background and has a plastic belt clip with metal spring can't complain.

you're comfortable with a full-featured radio with 100+ channels and VFO/Channelized operation and a setup menu, the UV-5R, UV-B5, or UV82 are better choices, but if all you need is a basic UHF (ham 70cm) radio, this works well and is easy for non-technical people to use
