A red LED Xmit indicator would be a nice feature also, as is on their original Speaker Mics for the UV-5 series radios.

It does have one great feature.

Supports the dual PTT feature on the UV-82 radios with the top button being A (top frequency) and side button used to transmit on B (the bottom frequency listed in your screen).

Works great with my UV-82 and UV-82L.Designed for my favorite feature of this HT, being able to transmit on either "A" or "B"

The PTT button works as it should, however the top button does not allow you to switch bands, making this just another speaker mic, there is another on Amazon for about 7.00..
