Everything else from baofeng seems to be a decent product but this blew me away when I opend the package
a great product as long as it works but breaks too easily and too often
It's still a great product and I recommend it if you need to have the radio in one place and need to hear it without blasting the whole room and without an earwig.
Otherwise, good value for the money after modification.

Works great with my UV-82 and UV-82L.Designed for my favorite feature of this HT, being able to transmit on either "A" or "B"
A red LED Xmit indicator would be a nice feature also, as is on their original Speaker Mics for the UV-5 series radios.

Supports the dual PTT feature on the UV-82 radios with the top button being A (top frequency) and side button used to transmit on B (the bottom frequency listed in your screen).
Sound quality is good, better than the built in speaker.
These feel kinda cheap compared to the radios so maybe they just aren't good quality
I did not give this mic a five star review only because it is made of very lightweight plastic which gives it a "cheap" feel, however I must say that the sound quality is extremely good
The quality of construction, and sound quality of the shoulder mic are very good for this type of device,

The BaoFeng Dual Push-to-talk Speaker Mic works as advertised on both my Transceivers.
False advertising
The PTT has only one PTT switch and is not going to work as advertised to be a dual PTT for Baofeng UV82
Also to note being a Ham, Baofeng products are a great way to get started and new ham operator's can't beat the quality of the product's that are offered for the reasonable price.
Regardless of the cheap price, I wasted my money.

The audio is a bit tinny, but not bad at all for the money.
The result is weak, hollow sounding audio
6/21/16 - works great and better quality audio after drilling out the mic hole as others have commented.
Love the speaker mic, wish it had up and down buttons, good audio on receive and transmit, the swivel hook on the back is fantastic.
Other than that overlook, the mike is maybe OK, but is a pain to use that stupid button on top
The top button for selecting between two active frequencies is handy.
Just wish channel 1 was the side button with channel 2 being the top small push button
I am glad to have this as it is so much easier to communicate without having to get my radio out of its pocket, trying not to hit any of the wrong buttons
The button on top for A channel is a bit awkward to use when clipped to my shoulder
