good clean audio comes out of the little speaker making it easy to hear in noisy environments
-
* Great Transmission and Speaker audio
-
The speaker had gone dead, so I replaced with a speaker from another radio - and it worked well but without the better audio I was accustomed to
-
Getting a sturdy-feeling two way radio with a full 4-5 watts, good battery life, loud reasonably clear receive audio, and acceptable transmit audio for about $30 is outstanding any way you slice it.
-
The audio is much clearer from this vs my previous BaoFengs

-
Getting a sturdy-feeling two way radio with a full 4-5 watts, good battery life, loud reasonably clear receive audio, and acceptable transmit audio for about $30 is outstanding any way you slice it.
-
far, I've found the audio to be perfect, the range to be good, and user interface to be "friendly".I strongly recommend you get the programming cable and download the "CHIRP" programming software
-
The audio from the radio is great due to the larger case and greater output
-
Very good audio
-
Did I say the audio is much improved
-
The audio on the uv-82 is a little better and the fit in the hand is somewhat easier, but programming and using the 82 is mot as user friendly
-
The dual channel transmit rocker feels solid and works well, and audio can be quite loud.
-
...it just feels solid, great LOUD audio, nice display, easy to program with CHIRP.

Just picked up this radio to replace a Wouxon radio that has known factory defects that they wont fix as well as to replace my Anytone mobile radio that was stolen when my car was broken into and i must i a pleasantly surprised by the quality and function
-
Programs weird a and software is flakey but the hardware is rock solid and (as a ham
-
It just /works/, it works as you'd expect, it feels GREAT, it sounds GREAT, audio reports are GREAT, battery life is /insanely great/ in comparison to the UV-5R, its subtle operating changes to be more efficient than the 5R are
-
Programming the radio is just as easy as the 5R as it uses the same operating system
-
They are a little longer than the Bao Feng UV5R, which I like as it fits my hand better.
-
I'm guessing the radio has increased in popularity as it has suffered from price creep, now at $49 here on Amazon
-
The baseband signal is then brought to the digital domain using a fast A-D converter (also integrated on the chip)
-
"A" for technology, and a "D" for being user-friendly.
-
