This is an extremely well made, solid feeling radio that seems as if it could tumble down a rock embankment and come up with nothing more than a little dirt in the speaker holes
-
Getting a sturdy-feeling two way radio with a full 4-5 watts, good battery life, loud reasonably clear receive audio, and acceptable transmit audio for about $30 is outstanding any way you slice it.
-
Solid feel....like a $150-200 radio......but the reason I give it 3 stars is first the manuel sucks
-
Display is a little small to read but the solid feel makes up for any short comings.
-
It has a great feel in the hand the stock antenna works great
-
but I have to admit that the feel of the radio and design of the case is more preferable, at least to me, over the UV5 series.
-
and I really enjoy the feel of this more, even if the insides are nearly identical
-
I like the feel of it - does not feel like a toy but a real hefty radio.
-
Very much prefer the feel of the 82.I'm lead to believe that internally they are the same.
-
and it has a good feel to it.
-
Someone I know has the UV-5R, and I just didn't like the feel of it.
-
Positive feeling keypad.
-
It has a fantastic feel to it, and the sound quality is better than the UV-5R. Programing with CHIRP worked perfectly, programming by hand is not easy, but none of the Baofeng radios (or others like them) are.
-
Good reception, solid feel
-
The radio has a solid feel and is well made and performs as advertised.
-
solid,'Built well' feel.. and the price is amazing too!
-
These radios have the solid feel of professional equipment, some people complained about the chargers but mine worked perfectly, may be a upgrade.
-
I like the 'new' look and feel of the UV-82UP.
-
I purchased two UV-82WP radios and loved the feel and function.
-
It has a good solid feel and the large buttons are perfect for my sausage fingers
