    • Spend a little more money and get a better quality brand.
    • Good quality and loud radio for it's size
    • Good quality of materials, long range (25 clicks) of the signal between two of them (I bought a pair)
    • Sound quality is good, battery life is excellent, and i love that the push to talk has a toggle between frequencies which is great if there are a couple of frequencies that you use a lot

    • Good quality and works very well have no problems at all
    • The UV-B5, however, doesn't have tone scanning, and the audio quality is poor on both transmit and receive
    • Better Audio quality than UV-5's and My F9
    • The quality of this radio is amazing, NOTHING feels cheap

    • Performs well, good quality, very pleased with features and price
    • Great Quality & Value on this radio
    • The mic and speaker provide much better sound quality than the UV-5R.Both the 5R and 82 have been effective in rolling wooded terrain, though my longest range to date is only around a mile
    • Now, I know I just listed some negatives, but when I personally look at reviews I am more concerned with any possible flaws, than if the item has extra features, since, if I am buying it to work as a 2 way radio, that is the main function I care about, but for those that are looking for what specifically I like about the radio, here we go!First off, the build quality is absolutely stellar
    • The sound quality is great!
    • It has a fantastic feel to it, and the sound quality is better than the UV-5R. Programing with CHIRP worked perfectly, programming by hand is not easy, but none of the Baofeng radios (or others like them) are.
    • Bargain price for good quality.
    • good quality sound and loud
    • Nice decent looking radio good quality was very surprised given the fact it only cost $25 charger and earpiece are kind of cheap but the radio makes up for it am new with ham
    • seems to be of very good quality for the price
    • My main purpose for the UV82 will be for Ham use, but I wanted to see how effective the radio was compared to a more expensive high quality radio
    • This one has better audio quality and fits in your hand better with longer battery life....
    • Sound quality is good, programming works with CHIRP, and is feature rich
    • Fantastic quality and feature set
    • Good range, good quality for the price.
    • 1) Bigger, louder, speaker with better sound; 2) larger aluminum heat sink; 3) firmer volume control with more solid on-off click; 4) more sensitive RX; 5) better quality accessory port; 6) removable accessory port cover; 7) larger keypad that looks the way you'd expect; 8) easy battery removal (pinch and slide); 9) larger belt clip; 10) separate TX/RX LEDs; 11) brighter, clearer display; 12) dual RX, dual TX; 13) improved flashlight (a handy but still strange feature); 14) longer duck antenna (Hams still will want to replace it with something like the NAGOYA NA-771); 15) better protection from the elements for speaker and mic
    • The build quality feels solid
    • Rx and Tx are improved, I have gotten multiple reports of great transmission quality and improved audio over the UV5R as well, and audio quality over the speaker is far better.
    • Great Build quality, feels solid in your hand and battery life if pretty good.
    • Great Build quality, feels solid in your hand and battery life if pretty good.
    • The FM reception is of terrible quality, and with poor signal levels, I'm not sure if the later is due to the antenna being for 146MHZ, but it should still work
    • good quality sound and loud
    • just as durable as the industrial quality radios I've used.
    • The quality of the radios is very good in relation to the price
    • The radio feels very good in the hand and after hand programming it to a local repeater I got good reports of very good audio and signal quality
    • Just picked up this radio to replace a Wouxon radio that has known factory defects that they wont fix as well as to replace my Anytone mobile radio that was stolen when my car was broken into and i must i a pleasantly surprised by the quality and function
    • Programs weird a and software is flakey but the hardware is rock solid and (as a ham
    • It just /works/, it works as you'd expect, it feels GREAT, it sounds GREAT, audio reports are GREAT, battery life is /insanely great/ in comparison to the UV-5R, its subtle operating changes to be more efficient than the 5R are
    • Programming the radio is just as easy as the 5R as it uses the same operating system
    • They are a little longer than the Bao Feng UV5R, which I like as it fits my hand better.
    • I'm guessing the radio has increased in popularity as it has suffered from price creep, now at $49 here on Amazon
    • well i
    • nice little h/t a lot of bang for your buck....
