My charger doesn't really work the light barely comes on and makes me wonder if it's even charging.

Radio works perfect, charger broke after 2 months though.

My charger failed after 6 months, and Baofeng was not interested

A friend gave me the BaoFeng UV-5R he had got because he claimed it was too complicated and he had lost the charger

And the supplied 10 VDC wall charger for the charging base is about as nasty piece of Chinese junk as any charger you'll find

, the correct charger have 10V 0.5A(left of the picture), and the other have 5V 1A

But the charger was broken when it arrived.

It is well built, fits together, comes with earphone / microphone and smart desktop charger.

Radio is great, but having either battery or charger issues.

Needs a better charger, otherwise a great little Ham radio.

It's a shame that the probably good radio was shot down by an obviously poor fitting and faulty charger.

Came missing the charger but after speaking with customer service they have already sent out a replacement charger

light weight,small and excellent range.we use it professionally as well as for enjoyment.licences are required for these radios

The 70 CM band works as it should.

I bumped it up another star as they had good communication with me and said they will send out a replacement charger

Not as easy as on the old Japanese radio
