While the supplied rubber duck antenna works well, I would recommend a better antenna if you are going to use inside your home.

Great deal for the price cant be beat has been droped and gotten wet stil working antennas suck though.

I recommend the antenna to be upgraded and the 3800mah battery last a long time one one charge

This is a 4 watt unit that will give about at 3-5 mile simplex signal with an improved antenna

The stock antenna is not good and I'd recommend buying a good dual band antenna with your radio.
