with the radio being received out of the packaging I wonder if it may have been a defective product now

This product worked fairly well for the time being that I had it, The only complaint I have about this product was the fact when It fell during a scuffle with a suspect the screen cracked and it was therefore useless, Overall before that it worked wonderfully and did everything I needed it to.
