Yes, it is a bit loud, but it is a grinder after all….

The Mignon feels a lot more sturdier than the Baratza which shakes a bit during use

The drawback is that it is a bit louder than some other grinders...but the noise duration isn't very long, because the grinder works so quickly.

The grinds don’t come out as symmetrical as the Baratza so you to do a bit more shaking of the portafilter to balance out the grinds

My only suggestion is that I would have liked the lid to be a bit more secure
