Baratza Sette 270 Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

    • Then after about 3 weeks of light use (17-38 grams of beans Monday through Friday and maybe 70 grams on weekends with plenty of downtime for the motor in between), the machine just stopped working
    • to my knowledge this is a great machine and will give top quality results
    • Machine suddenly stopped grinding in less than a year
    • -The machine is loud- you wo
    • I loved this machine in that its beautiful and produces a really nice ground but its not durable
    • Most important: the Sette's unique vertical burr design ensures every single bean is ground and sent straight into your portafilter (I prefer single-dosing, and this machine is perfect for that)
    • Granted theyl more expensive machines and grinders may produce a tastier espresso
    • This machine is great but longevity is a serious issue
    • returned it and got hit with 20% restocking fee for "returned fully functional used" sad!yes our machine is working correctly.
    • Highly recommended machine and company.
    • I was devastated, and horribly decaffeinated, and I went through all the stages of grief as I requested a return and packed the machine back in the box (thank you to previous reviewer who advised me to save the box)

    • Such an expensive machine should not die after only 18 months
    • I purchased my Baratza Grinder about 2 years ago, to go with a Flair portable espresso machine
    • But for us, this is an excellent upgrade and our hats our off to the company for being able to produce such a fine machine for this price.
    • I loved this machine
    • although having trouble getting a really fine grind for espresso- just did 2 shots with it on the finest setting, but it didn't choke the machine, and brewed
    • After a month it did settle down eventually and has worked well for about a year, but all in all these issues consumed more time than I would expect in a newish, expensive machine
    • Because I knew I would only use this machine to grind for
    • Such an expensive machine should not die after only 18 months
    • The Baratza Sette 270 is a great machine that consistently produces a very fine grind
    • the fact that it does not have you lose much as there is very little retention in the shoot (one of the main reasons I opted on this model) C) doesn't take up a lot of real estate on the counter D) ease of cleaning
    • A few things that bothered me in the beginning: very messy grounds all over due to static (I live in Arizona where it's dry always
