Took a little while to get the grind setting and timing the way I want it, but since then, I haven't really had to adjust.

I tried to perfect my timing, but was never able to consistently avoid having grounds fly about the counter when the portafilter was near full.

Once you do get it dialed in though, the 3 preset run time options are great...just click the preset you want and away you go...perfect every time!I also appreciate the removable hopper
