Obviously this was not factored into my review of the product, but a small word of warning for potential buyers, glossy paint behind/around your TV will not give off the nice, soft, diffused look seen in the picture

I think the best scenario for these is if you have a wall-mounted TV as the wall really helps reflect some of the light and the effect is pretty neat.

We contacted the seller and he was able to quickly resolve our problem by sending a defective kit that contained a working light strip to replace the one we broke.

I've purchased several similar products and never liked them when it got home due to the quality or color and brightness of the lights

Overall it's an okay product and I am happy that it is still working, but a little dismayed by the fact that it's not really different than any LED strip with remote and adhesive backing (and some of those are cheaper).Side note: Pay attention to what's behind/around your TV near where you may mount these lights

The adhesive literally tears away from the LED strips when the backing is removed; it's like the product has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for years, slowly degrading

This product appears to work as advertised, with one exception; the white color setting on the remote actually produces a blue light instead

The problem with this LED strip is that the light is blue, even when it is on the white setting

The sticky backing on the LED strips makes it easy to attach them to the back of the TV at first, but I've been having the bottom strip fall off lately (after 5 months of light use and little/no movement)

After removing the light strips a few times, the adhesive completely tore off of the LED strip and I had to improvise.

the strips did not fall down at all and that was with me even removing one strip and sticking it back on.

I had one defective strip and they sent me a whole new batch

The colors and brightness of thes are pretty good and true to color of the remote

The lights are very bright & there are multiple vivid colors to choose from

I put the LED lights on a 50 inch Samsung Smart TV and bought the 48-50 inch LED set.

Hung the tv back up on my wall lights turned on but will not change color or so anything just stay blue

Remote broke, tape was incredibly difficult to peal without paper getting stuck

I don't often use the remote but when I try to it does work as long as you're not too far away

They all do the same thing and technically you could go buy a roll of RGB LED tape and connectors and do this yourself for probably $20

The tape is strong enough on the LED strip to stick to odd bumps/depressions on the back of the TV without issue.

Received comment from Bason concerning the issue with male and female ends on the LED strips.

Was a bit turned off with the higher price compared to others but to me it was worth it since so many others seem shoddy and reviewers had a lot of negative comments

I don't really have any negative comments except if you don't have a TV with a USB port you will need some sort of adapter or USB plug in for them to work.

Tech geeks, you know that "damn" comment when you hear it.
