The visual effect looks great around the TV and the viewing has been much more enjoyable

I just received it on time and sticked the Led strip on the back of my Samsung 55" TV

The colors in there can be dark and I didn't want to paint another

The color temperature is pretty close to 6500k and really does improve how deep the tvs blacks are as well as how much colors pop and how wide the contrast is

While it's not huge, there is a noticeable difference in blacks and deep dark colors

I noticed I had less eye fatigue watching my TV in the dark with this backlight strip

We do however like the glow, but wish that is was a bit less bright.

However, based on the photos in the description, I did expect them to be a bit brighter than they are.

Peeled only the red backing, which was a bit tricky, if you are not careful, you’ll peel the 3m sticky strip, and secured it to the back of the tv

They bias a little bit to the blue side, but not distractingly so.

My only gripe is that getting the paper backing off the adhesive is a bit tricky

but I would recommend as long as you don't expect full coverage for a large TV.

L is perfect for the 55” in my opinion (just FYI, the length of the light string only fully covers the top and sides of the TV).

I hate overhead lights glaring on the television, so this was a great solution.

Basically, my TV is a cheap model, and I have crappy contrast on really dark scenes.

It has made the darker scenes and the overall contrast just so so beautiful and gives my image an even bigger pop

The LED’s nearest the USB plug in are visibly brighter than toward the end of the strip

I have the KS8000 which deals with difficulty in darker scenes due to it not having the full array backlight

On the super-dark scenes, I can still tell the TV is cheap, however.

Looks great and keeps eye fatigue to a minimum at night

its alright but not as flexible as I expcted, I had such trouble bending it to fit the squre shape of the monitor.

I take this as a good thing because one of the reasons I got the luminoodle was to essentially watch tv without any other lights on and reduce eye fatigue.

I never felt like I had eye fatigue from doing movie marathons with friends or playing video games for extended periods but the LED's definitely add a new level of enjoyment out of both and highly recommend getting them if you spend a lot of time around the TV
