I didn't have reason to doubt it, but backlighting the TV really does improve the quality of the picture

The quality is very good, easy to install

but It wasn't long enough for my 55" Samsung and the color from the LED's were all not accurate so I actually had different "hues" of blue and cyan and even purple due to the poor quality control of the LED's being used

However, this product does very significantly improve both picture quality, and reduce eye strain; the latter so much so, that with it off, my eyes hurt in less than a day

This is way brighter than previous non Luminoodle strips I have purchased, they seem to be nice quality and didnt have any issues sticking to my TV.

L is perfect for the 55” in my opinion (just FYI, the length of the light string only fully covers the top and sides of the TV).

its alright but not as flexible as I expcted, I had such trouble bending it to fit the squre shape of the monitor.
