It does seem to make dark scenes easier to see.

It has made the darker scenes and the overall contrast just so so beautiful and gives my image an even bigger pop

While I haven't ruled out the possibility of seeing a difference because I was expecting to, I believe I do see a more detail in darker scenes now than previously noted.

Basically, my TV is a cheap model, and I have crappy contrast on really dark scenes.

I have the KS8000 which deals with difficulty in darker scenes due to it not having the full array backlight
