That's a HUGE plus for me as I didn't think Batman had nearly enough in Arkham City

While it does not live of to the superiority of it's predecessors, it is still a great batman game.

Who doesn't like Batman?

Story is meh, but if you loved the previous games and love Batman you will love this

Batman is only two years in the business, and is known as a myth, and a criminal

I would say this is one of the best batman games I've ever seen and if you're a batman

When it came out, Batman: Arkham Asylum was definitive proof that not only could a good Batman game be made, but a good superhero game in general

The story's premise (Black Mask paying 8 assassins to kill Batman on Christmas Eve) is probably the best of the series

This next one is a personal preference but Batman in this game kinda grated my nerves, it seem like he expected commissioner Gordon to follow his lead when Gordon knows next to nothing about him

I mean, the bat suit itself makes Batman look like a Wrestle Mania/Comic Con reject...and the bosses are rediculous, I can't even beat the second boss, because I don't want to kill the PS3 controller due to button mashing (it isn't my PS3)....so in other words, I can't say that I liked this game at all

A good all round Batman game especially for the price.

I felt this Batman was better to play because the most wanted missions and casefiles reports gave me more alternatives to choose from while trying to do missions, plus you can squeeze the thugs out and ask them where Enigma's (The riddler) packages are which makes that a little simpler (a little because that will never be easy)

Highest possible recommendation for anyone who likes Batman or action games.

I would say it's a decent game, but if you really want a good Batman Arkham experience, play either Arkham Asylum or City

All in all, I would definitely recommend Batman: Arkham Origins, but I'd definitely suggest playing Batman: Arkham Asylum and City first (although this is a prequel to them).

The game can suffer from noticeable framerate slowdown at times, normally when lots of enemies are onscreen or when Batman fast travels with the Batplane, and the game froze on me a few times as well

It was more than just stopping classic Batman villains

The music is above par, dramatic, and fitting to all situations that Batman has to contend with, as well

Batman attempts to interfere with Black Mask's plans, so the mob boss retaliates by placing a 50 million dollar bounty on Batman's head, which a number of assassins like Killer Croc, Deathstroke, Bane, Deadshot, and others are all too happy to collect

The boss battles and other encounters with classic Batman villains are also quite fun, and a couple are rather challenging, although some are reminiscent of certain battles and encounters from previous games

bosses to hard to beat deathstroke is a cheater he does not take damage from batmans punches the game is not fair batman is supposed to have the advantage not a fun game

As much as I enjoy Batman generally, and the Arkham games specifically, I am disappointed to say that I cannot recommend that anyone purchase this game.

The first impression of the game is that the graphics are softer and not as crisp as the Black Gate prison has boring corridors and the lighting gives Batman a funny soft glow that makes the graphics look sub-par by comparison to Arkham City.

But you cant use these upgrades because you havent beaten a mini boss that doesnt show up till the last 25% of the game.-4 snipers on completely different rooftops, 2 of them have several different armed men, 3 of them are all aiming at each other, huge open space to get to them (center of diamond district), they all respawn the second you leave to a neighboring district, they all magically know where you are as soon as you enter their area, and one of them is on a roof with a sign that batman gets stuck on-like bane

Once again A Batman Arkham game that rocks just as good if not better than the two previous entrees in the series

I love Batman and with this game it's like when you have some frustration and you need to release it some way

Never knew he could handle the computer so well and reconfigure Batman's map and give him tactical advice

You can even have Batman fast travel to the Batcave at almost any time to get some practice in the challenge rooms, change his costume, or even chat with Alfred

However, if you love Batman (and I mean outside of Nolan's recent trilogy), you'll appreciate the lengths the game goes to in an effort to get inside Batman's head as well as the psyche of Joker

Black Mask has hired a bunch of Assassins to hunt down and kill Batman

I should also mention that, being that there are 8 assasins after you, including a few other well-known batman villans (like the mad hatter :D), makes for lots of epic boss battles and cinematics that makes a batman fan's jaw drop in awe at batman's AWESOMENESS!!

Origins is one of the most exciting and fun single player experiences I've had in my life, and it is by far, the best Batman game on the Arkham series (so far)

My biggest initial gripe was the sound effects of combat which have been dialed down significantly; if you played Arkham City you knew how satisfying and crushing it sounded when Batman took out an enemy

It feels like a GREAT compilation of all my favorite Batman things

So to close, If you are a hardcore Batman fan like myself, You will probably like this game

Batman has devoted his life to protect the innocent and you rarely see any of them, Even Arkham City (an enormous Prison) had innocent Political Prisoners crying out for help

All in all, it is another great Batman game.

If you loved Arkham City and Batman lore enough to cruise through another 15 hour story, you should pick this up

so if you're looking for a good batman adventure this game does not disappoint.

Batman Arkham Asylum released in 2009 and blew gamers away when they saw that it was not only a good game but a fantastic game, two years later the sequel Batman Arkham City was released and once again blew gamers away by being better than the first game

Like Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, this Batman Arkham Origins is Wonderful.

But this game LOVES Batman, and it's the closest you will get to being the Caped Crusader in a video game

I loved all the gadgets and Batman's fight style.

The crime scene investigations were a nice addition and fit Batman well

Arkham Origins is supposed to be about a young, inexperienced Batman who doesn't even know Commissioner Gordon yet, but somehow Bane and Blackmask already have vendettas against Batman, and Batman already has the same gadgets and fighting skills as he has later on, even though we saw him build some of those gadgets in Arkham City

It seems Warner Brothers had just totally fumbled how Batman met the Joker and found out about how the Joker operates and how extreme the Joker is compared to Black Mask, Penguin, etc.

Nonetheless, it still has the great batman action that has come to redefine a franchise and the video game industry.

And that brings me to the last point, you also get to meet black mask, the Falcones mobsters, a girl from the league of assasins, and a more nagging version of Alfred who treats Batman like a two year old, which he is (game takes place two years after he decides to be batman).PD

Gone is the fluidity of the Rocksteady versions; this Batman is herky-jerky in comparison, and the controls have been changed for no apparent reason so that the quick batarang and detective view use each others' buttons

Batman's limitations

Two years later, Batman Arkham: City gave us a sequel that gave more, was bigger and in many ways better by freeing Batman into a huge open section of the city of Gotham--and still managed to be a very integrate level design.

it would be a great batman game if the controll selection for killing deathstroke wasnt so ridiculously fast and so repetitive

The game play as well as this big bulky looking Batman just doesn't do it for me.

Like before, Batman can use his Detective Mode to scan for evidence like blood samples and bullet trajectories, only now he can virtually recreate the crime with his Detective Mode, rewinding and fast forwarding the footage to find even more previously unseen clues
