Batman: Arkham Origins - Playstation 3

    • If you have some free time to kill, Origins isn't a bad way to spend it
    • I enjoyed my time playing the main story, but admittedly took a break for a few months before finishing the game, so I'm not sure this installment captivated me like the previous two did
    • and I'm not trying to exaggerate) a good ten times as big on the inside opposed to out, judging by how long it takes Batman to run its length.
    • Several times it could not find any players and I suffered from multiple instances of freezing
    • Unfortunately, there are a few gameplay problems this time around
    • Later on in the game Batman gets shock gloves and when powered up basically eliminates all challenge and turns combat into a mindless button masher, but considering how repetitive the enemy encounters and boss fights are this time around I honestly didn't mind having an easier way to take them out
    • I used to think that I lost so many times in my first playthrough because I wasn't familiar with the game and enemies.
    • but if you can get past some of the glitches or dont encounter the glitch i did then i think youll have a great time with arkham origns defenitly buy this game if your a fan of batman or the arkham series
    • Back and forth through the city you'll fly, wasting more time doing this than engaging in actual game play, which is the one shining area of this game
    • The Arkham world is not as exciting this time around and I struggled at times to pick up and play when coming back from work
    • The one thing that I did find as a major improvement to the gameplay this time around were the various murders you actually get to solve in Batman's detective mode
    • If you buy this game in the form it is now you are in for resetting your console a few times per 1hour sessions due to frozen screens, frame rate drops and falling through scenery, collectibles that don't always registered they have been collected, long waits for the multiplayer to
    • It has caused my game to freeze several times, at one point, I had to actually fight a group of enemies I had already defeated before the freeze
    • Received within the promised time frame.
    • The badness:You fight Bane 3 times
    • The Arkham world is not as exciting this time around and I struggled at times to pick up and play when coming back from work
    • It freezes more than half the time when looking for a quick match and if you are lucky enough to get in a match it will most likely kick you out just as you are getting in to it
    • I've been trying to play it several times, and althoug is a good game it freezes so many times that it is almost imposible to enjoy it as it was meant to.
    • In fact, it's pretty breathtaking the first time you set foot into the Gotham of Arkham
    • I lost count of how many times I've had to restart my PS3 because it just froze up after I tried to change my loadouts after finishing a match
    • An exciting multiple-takedown move usually starts with Batman popping up in the air, time slowing down
    • However this time the environment just seemed to lack the same feel.
    • This was a gift for my son on Christmas he loved it came on time very good product.
    • I was hoping hard difficulty required timing on things such as counter, but no
    • If you never played the previous Batman Arkham games before you are definitely in for treat and what a great time to play it in November & December with the Christmas theme in the game
    • would get a 5 but has froze a couple times.
    • It's nice to have a bit of a hub area this time around
    • I could push the button once or twice, even three times, and Batman refuses to counter
    • The technical issues of the game are very real and I had to restart a checkpoint a couple times due to me falling through snow, frozen enemies after defeating them (mainly the Riddler intimidation thugs) and unresponsive controls at times during heated battles
    • I can't tell you how many times I've experienced these problems each time I've wanted to sit down and enjoy a little online play
    • and I'm not trying to exaggerate) a good ten times as big on the inside opposed to out, judging by how long it takes Batman to run its length.
    • But if you liked these things the first time around, odds are you'll like this time around, too
    • Worth the time I put into it
    • Con:-Boss fights seem to only focus on one specific aspect of Batman's combat repertoire (i.e. Cape Stun, Counter, Quick Gagdets, etc.).-Story involves some suspended disbelief with Batman having met some of his biggest foes all in the same night.-Some errors with the audio pulling off from the video, and the video freezing up occasionally (happened 3 times during story mode).-Game is exactly what I expect from the Arkham franchise, nothing new.
    • You meet several criminals the first time around and while this does have some interesting storyline to it as well the city is the disappointment to me
    • delivered on time, with great response time on questions, product as described, recommended
    • The game can suffer from noticeable framerate slowdown at times, normally when lots of enemies are onscreen or when Batman fast travels with the Batplane, and the game froze on me a few times as well
    • it's certainly just as good and also functions as the next logical step in series design (prequel or not). The story is more intimate and direct this time, the cut scenes are visceral, and the voice acting is excellent, especially from the principal members of the cast
    • It's buggy and loading times are terrible
    • , Deathstroke should win EVERY time a fight happens between them when it's based solely on skill alone.6
