I've owned these and the Studios at one point.compared to the studios, here's how they fare:The good:-Sound clearer, the highs are better-transportation is easy because they fold up-no need for batteries-bass is still clear and loud, almost identical to the studios' bass but not as overpowering-aluminum instead of plastic, so more durable and in my opinion better looking-comes with a better aux cable-fits tight and comfortable over your ears-no noise cancellation but noise isolation, so if you're playing music it still is hard or impossible to hear

They are built with cheap ass plastic and they sound like laptop speakers in my ears!!!

I can't tell you how many times I have seen other dj's with broken headphones from the plastic bands and connectors breaking

And yes, these sound FAR better than the cheap plastic, poorly built, and lesser sounding Studios, and have much more value for price than any other headphone i've tried out

I will agree with the other reviews though that these headphones are a little pricey, but you are paying for quality here not some cheap plastic

Everything came in a boxed that already had tears and rips in it and the items inside were wrapped in cheap plastic

I wish the travel bag made of hard plastic, but instead it is a white acrylic soft bag

Studios (I hated that).I'd say if you love music as much as I do, forget Solo's and Studio's exist and skip right to Pros, best thing I've ever bought!

After listening for an hour or so, your ear will ache as if circulation is being cut off

I would highly recommend as they are the best purchase I have made in a long time.

My son loves these and wears them around his neck as a sort of teenage fashion accessory as well as for listening to music

However the emphasis on the low end implies that on some songs you will discover that the mids and highs get drowned out and dont sound as clear or crisp as they do on the Beats Studios or other DJ headphones

The Pro’s bass is tight and accurate, easy to recognize bass guitars, bass drums or bass without overshadowing midrange and treble, I want accuracy to the artist or composer
