Behringer Xenyx Q802USB Premium 8-Input 2-Bus Mixer with USB/Audio Interface

    • You have to use a USB3 port in order to maintain a quiet/clean microphone signal
    • It will isolate your microphone from physical contact sounds or vibrations from the microphone stand or desk that the microphone is on.2
    • For microphone I use the Audio-Technica ATR-2100 USB as it as a great microphone for under $50.00 and with this mixer you get maximized & great sound quality from the mic
    • Coupled with the Sennheiser E835 Dynamic Cardioid Vocal Microphone it does wonders over any other microphone setup I've had.
    • If you are using more than 2 microphones, this won't work well at all unless your microphones don't need any gain
    • If you are using more than 2 microphones, this won't work well at all unless your microphones don't need any gain
    • Basically with this mixer and the right microphone and monitors/headphones you can pick up your sound game for well under $300
    • With those microphones a Audio-Technical AT8410A microphone shock mount will still do nicely
    • I'm going to start my review by saying I have purchased many Behringer products in the past, from a portable sound system, to a couple of condenser microphones, to some dynamic microphones
    • Yes, it is not the best mixer possible but used in a combination of M-Audio AV40 monitors or Sennheisser HD201 headphones with a dynamic vocal cardioid microphone like the Behringer XM1800S and your choice of microphone stands (possibly a Audio-Technical AT8410A microphone shock mount as well) you can really gain performance
    • but I had a lot of feedback, and then it began to hiss and pop and it began to not recognize my directly plugged-in XLR microphone after a few weeks, when it worked fine with the mic before
    • Slightly noisier than I would like for microphone inputs but adequate.
    • Found a Youtube solution running RCA cables to the 2-track I/O's and punching in To Phones/Control RM .
