    BEHRINGER MICROMIX MX400

    • This is a great little headphone amp that does exactly what it says it does
    • I purchased two of these inexpensive headphone amps, and tested both with full loads on them (4 headphones on each - or, to be precise, the one detached side of 4 headphone sets, as in a recording studio)
    • The sound quality is excellent...actually better than some other more expensive headphone amps on the market

    • I used this to deal with a new PC that had an audio card that only barely could drive my headphones (Audio-technica M50).This amp didn't have enough gain to do the job - so I can attest that the amp doesn't go into distortion conniptions even at maximum gain

    • Great little headphone amp, but does have crackling line noise sometimes, doesn't do it too often if no one moves the headphone amp with their headphone cords, but still it happens, & also makes line noise sometimes when you turn the dials
