This is a great little headphone amp that does exactly what it says it does

I purchased two of these inexpensive headphone amps, and tested both with full loads on them (4 headphones on each - or, to be precise, the one detached side of 4 headphone sets, as in a recording studio)

The sound quality is excellent...actually better than some other more expensive headphone amps on the market

I have seen little audio hubs made for PCs, but they typically only support two outputs (headphone and speakers), whereas this supports four.

hooked up the headphone out on my mixer to this thing and split the headphone put into 4 outs.would buy again!

If you are mixing sources into something that is inherently mono, like a guitar amp, this will work without issues; if your are using headphones like me you will need to get an adapter.

Having just purchased 6N3 tube amp found in testing has an interesting output impedance issue that this little amp useds as final stage to headphones works very well to resolve

It works well and my headphones are definitely loud

To top it off, each headphone has its own volume adjust so each listener can monitor their own loudness while the HA400 keeps the max volume capped to where I set it.

I was looking for an inexpensive multichannel headphone amp for my home studio and to take to fellow bandmates houses for practice.

Splitters stink because the volume will be different in each headphone if they aren' t the same model, each listener can't change volume independently, and you can hear when the other person bumps their headphone.

The only thing I don't recommend doing is turning the volume past the 2nd notch for your good headphones because they might damage them like they did mine.

When I first got this it blew up my headphones and didnt work right at all with my desktop speakers or anything.

Using 1/4-inch to 3.5 mm adapters I now have four handy headphone outlets that can be used.

So, do you need to mix 4 instruments into one source or do you need to allow 4 people to decide how loud they want their headphones

When they say "4 powerful headphone amplifiers" they really mean POWERFUL!!

This allows us to hook headphone up to any device even if it doesn't support headphones or have the juice to drive three or four sets of headphones.

Overall, a fine little headphone amplifier, especially at this low price point.

I plug my guitar into the input, and have the headphones in slot 3 (any available slot works great).
