It is very quiet and doesn't color the sound or introduce excessive noise

A little hum noise, probably from power supply, but it disappears if you turn up all 4 volume controls even without anything plugged in.

Any movement caused the power to blink and a subsequent loud noise/pop in the speaker.

AMAZING!ok, so here is the review: I use the AKG 240 Headphones, they are very sensitive to hissing noise in the background, and only in the volume 9-

There is no unwanted noise at all that I can hear, even with the levels turned way up, and the mixer plays very nicely with the effects pedal and PA

Been using a line mixer from Radio Shack that I bought for $40 a couple of years ago and finally got tired if the humming noise beween songs

Tried a coupla different wireless sets but there was just too much fooling around with them and static noise was a constant issue

All the channels work perfectly, there is no noticeable noise, etc and it is solidly built

This amp is very low noise and very low distortion but strong enough to drive any headphone and finnaly appriciate the 6N3 tubes' beauty

If you crank volume all the way up you can hear static/noise, but it is not audible at all at lower volumes so just keep a high-level input signal!

Might try disassembling later to see if I can fix the static noise.

I don't know why people complain about this,The thing is, the product is awesome, does the work very well,no noise, doesn't feel and see cheap, and the price is just the right.the microamp has more volumen that you need!Awesome product

The sound is great and no noise from amp

The only improvement I would make is possible having the I/O panel top mounted to allow full access to this unit from one direction (such as for rack mounting it).
