This headphone amp is a zillion times better solution for 2 to 4 headphones.

However, I would like to find an easy way to mix my keyboard which only has 1 - 1/4in out, and my mp3 player/Phone/PC etc, in stereo to headphones for practicing without the need of an amp or multiple other pieces of equipment... surely there is a simple inexpensive solution to this somewhere?!?

The only improvement I would make is possible having the I/O panel top mounted to allow full access to this unit from one direction (such as for rack mounting it).
