Wow for $20 this sounds good and feels very solid.

I'm using it with my AKG K 240s and the sound is awesome

It puts out a nice clear sound with no distortion.

It is essential, when comparing different headphones or speakers of any sort, to ensure the volume coming out of the different units is exactly the same, because our ears/brain otherwise will hear the sounds differently and will prefer one sound over the other as much for the volume as for the sound quality.

I jerry-rigged a Lepai speaker amp and, while it got me through a few gigs, the sound was too distorted at high levels and the Lepai amp would cut off at high output.

Great job of splitting sound and perfectly drives 4 sets of cans from my boards output at the volume each person is comfortable with.
