The sweet spot is good for a desktop setup, but not great if you want to use these for an entertainment center or to dominate a room.

Nothing will work as well for mixing as an in theater mixing studio, but for an incredibly reasonable price these got me awfully close

they make great budget studio monitors as well.

I don't have time to write out a full review of how crystal clear and flat they are if in the correct setup, but they're worth way more than they cost, that's for sure.

Sturdy construction, fairly neutral sound reproduction, and awesome for an "active" surround sound system

My good friend has the Yamaha set and he has had to get the tweeters replaced twice in 3 years.

If you know what sounds good, and you know how to dial it in, these monitors will be your best friends.
