    BEHRINGER UMC204HD

    • A good interface that solves all of these problems at once really does a lot to merge music hardware with the software instruments and DAW capabilities on the iPad
    • Software was easy to find and install on win
    • Additionally, the device has excellent driver support and very minimal software to deal with, making it's integration into virtually any signal chain a breeze
    • Plus if you already have good software, it will compensate for the gaps in hardware if any
    • But NO "FREE SOFTWARE" WHATSOEVER
    • But I seriously object to paying for a product which is supposed to come with "free software" and then having the manufacturer pull a bait-and-switch on me
    • The reasons I gave it 4-stars was because it came with no useful free plugins or software (although once you register the box you get a free copy of Traction software
    • No noticeable lag with appropriate settings; software is pretty intuitive
    • No noticeable lag with appropriate settings; software is pretty intuitive
    • While it takes some fiddling with the software to get a good balance between low latency and lack of crackling, it works as it should
    • The device seems to work as I intended it to, and time will tell if there are audio quality issues or other concerns I haven't thought of.
    • Maybe - as well as with any USB interface, which is to say “within limits”.I can live and play in time with a 10 mS round trip latency
