I use it to record audio and voice conferencing using a Shure SM48-LC Vocal Dynamic Microphone, Cardioid

On higher volume levels it can have a slight buzz on sensitive microphones, but with a little tweaking, it can be easily removed.

Haven't tried any dynamic microphone yet.

The microphone works just fine in guitar amps, I have tried regular microphones, and even running little computer microphones through it.

Perfect for beginners or those who want something easy to plug in a nice microphone with phantom power

The microphone to instrument cable adapters are heavy and I've destroyed a few microphone jacks that way.

I thankfully disconnected my nice microphone from the unit before it went full blown dysfunctional

Remember that no Phantom Power would work with dynamic microphones in general

Either way, I get a cleaner sound using my M-Audio M-Track 2-Channel Portable than using this turd
