I don't like that it doesn't have a power switch, but works perfect for what we do.
I'm glad there is competition, because I believe the competition always sees ways to make something better!I recently even went to website, and they're doing some incredible work with their digital mixers
Perfect for any computer audio editing, USB works without audio input port, which is getting hard to find on new laptops.

So far / clean, rich sound - especially for the very low price
Just the microphone, but it allows me to get very good sound for audio commentary w/o having a 1U rack mount sitting on my desk.
Sound is good, no noise or hissing
NEVER push the "To Main Mix" button when the USB is plugged in or it will create a loop back which will amplify all sounds exponentially and destroy your monitors or headphones !
About a week ago when I got home, I smelled a "Burning Plastic" smell and a buzzing sound
but as time went on.. the mic wasn't loud enough or it was becoming quieter (people on the other end said I was quiet
15v Phantom power. if you have a powerful mic and external FX board that will tie into the 502, the phantom power is not enough to support it
Yes, phantom power is only 15v, but it is a quiet, well balanced mic pre for money
Either way, I get a cleaner sound using my M-Audio M-Track 2-Channel Portable than using this turd
Yes, it does ALL these things!Used with a high quality dynamic or condenser mic, it sounds terrific when recording vocals or instruments into the computer
Why does an audio mixer need to use (and waste) that much power

Phantom power on this unit is not strong enough to drive my microphone
I'm not sure if my mic just isn't getting enough power or what
I used this with my AT2020 for a 6+ months, but as I become more knowledgeable about the equipment I was using, I realized that the phantom power the 502USB provides just isn't adequate

I play keyboards and if you play an instrument where you are not very mobile then using this as an in ear monitor is less expensive than a wireless system and very easy to implement
Significant noise is present when monitoring via the phones jack; even when nothing is connected.
It almost destroyed my monitors and headphones which were plugged in.

This thing only makes a hiss and hum or no noise at all.
Dunno what folks are talking about as far as noise is concerned, 'cause I've encountered none whatsoever
I use Behringer Phantom power (Mixer provides 15V of phantom power) with this to power up my C1 condensor microphone and it makes hissing noise after crossing a particular gain level
However, when I tried to record, there was a loud hissing noise present in all my recordings
