This thing only makes a hiss and hum or no noise at all.

Significant noise is present when monitoring via the phones jack; even when nothing is connected.

Sound is good, no noise or hissing

It works great with my mic, keyboard, and laptop for live performance, but there is excessive noise when recording via usb

However, when I tried to record, there was a loud hissing noise present in all my recordings

only when i use the 3.5mm out to the rear of my PC did the static noise go away

Dunno what folks are talking about as far as noise is concerned, 'cause I've encountered none whatsoever

Loud static noises would appear out of nowhere and go in to the main feed

Maybe there is an issue with another component, but I only get hiss/noise when trying to record.

I use Behringer Phantom power (Mixer provides 15V of phantom power) with this to power up my C1 condensor microphone and it makes hissing noise after crossing a particular gain level
