Would not recommend this power cord.

I can get it behind furniture without compromising space and damaging the cords.

so I don’t have to worry that pushing the bed against the wall can damage the cord (like the traditional cords) and cause a fire or unplug the cord because this one goes straight downwards.

Just enough plug ins in my desk area and the right length cord.

The cord is long enough that I can be 4 feet or more away from an outlet, which makes things easier when outlets are scarce

Six power outlets are generally adequate (8 outlets are more versatile), the straight line configuration may require some creative cord placement depending on plug size and shape.

Never once in my life have I had a power strip fail like this - we didn't move it around a lot, we didn't twist the cord - it just spontaneously shorted out

The length is reasonable and makes for an excellent and stealthy power cord.

This cord didn’t work right out of the box

I buy these and cut the cord where it meets the outlet box and throw the outlet box away and use the cord alone to replace bulky appliance cords

Cord neatly hugs the wall without sticking out too far.

I like the long cord

I bought the first one awhile back because our bed sit against the plug and would bend the cord for our cell phone chargers and other plugs like our window A/C unit and seasonal christmas lights didn't reach

Flexible cord allows me to hide it just the way I want.

I had other power strips whose plugs fit just fine, but the cord was not long enough.

So I got this device to keep my cords safe and unbent while also getting extra outlets

I need to have use of the outlet behind the refrigerator; this surge protector has a long enough cord and the flat and rotating plug made it possible for me to plug it in

The long 360° cord makes it easy to use in odd tight spaces

The 8' cord was most important for me.

The longer cord on this power strip made it ideal for me

So far I love this cord.

All the outlets in my house are horizontal rather than vertical, so the rotating plug head has been great for not having awkward cords sticking out to the side.

I would prefer a 3 or 4 ft cord, so that is the only concession

The cord is sufficiently long enough and I was pleased that I was able to plug it into an outlet that's a little farther away and that this surge protector reached farther than the unit I had replaced
