great price, I like the heaviness to the feel of it and the quality of the product

But, this is a fine little extension cord/power strip at a reasonable price.

I know I didn't just get a "dud."Everything else is great, though: price, the flat and swiveling head (which you may not appreciate it until you get to compare it with traditional plugs), and the fact that the surge protector part works.

This product works as described and the flat plug allows me to plug it in behind the couch and still have the couch back against the wall.

I would recommend Belkin to put more efforts on this device and produce a real, high quality surge protector

But that first few months it worked GREAT!Belkin did offer to replace it, after a few hours on the phone with their customer support

I've not actually used the strip yet, but have other Belkin's that work just fine

I can always trust belkin for these types of products to do the job

I bought my first Belkin about 2 years ago and I really liked it so now when I need another surge protector I always buy Belkin.

Still, it works great and the 8 ft cord is a nice length to get it out from behind the furniture.

You can't hang this power strip on a wall, the outlets just don't have enough grip and your plugs will slip out

Not a bad product - just not what I needed when I searched for a right-angle power strip.

Of course I thought a cheap power strip would suffice and then plugged in several of most expensive electronics

This thing is a fantastic design, well worth the money.

Minimal and clean design, but a small red-light indicator would have been nice.

So if you have this plugged in working and you move the cord, everything plugged into it loses power

The cord is long enough that I can be 4 feet or more away from an outlet, which makes things easier when outlets are scarce

Failed as a surge protector and almost burned down my house

Plugged the new TV and DirectTV box into it and found the power & surge protector to be dead

Second one came.....didn’t work

Another surge protector did its job and protected my other TV from the same power surge.

It is never worth buying a cheap power strip or surge protector from an unverified UL tested company.

Sadly Underwriters Laboratories has issued warnings over the years of power strips and surge protectors that may present shock or fire hazards as well as ones that carry counterfeit UL marks on them.

It makes me wonder if surge protectors are such a fire hazard on the whole that it's dangerous to attach them to structures, which means they are actually too dangerous to use
