I am hopeful that the signal will be more consistently reliable - after trying out everything (2 smart TVs, 2 smart DVD players, a desktop, a laptop, two iPhones and an iPad (so far)

I had been using the older Belkin high-speed router, the AC750, for about 2 years, and although it worked fine, the signal on that older router was too weak to make it to my far bedroom, so I had to add a range extender to boost the signal.

That range extender kept losing the signal and slowed down the entire system.

But with this new AC1900, not only do I get almost double the speed on both my wi-fi and wired ports, the signal is now so much stronger that I was able to get rid of the range extender, and just have this one router (in the same exact location as the old router).

and I live in a place with really thick wood walks and get good signal all over my 3 story house and its on the bottom floor.
