BELLA (13683) Personal Espresso Maker with Steam Wand, Glass Decanter & Permanent Filter, Black

    • Like burnt plastic.
    • Everything else seems way cheaper feeling, lighter duty, thin, cheap shiny plastic, flimsy and just cheap
    • Very cheap plastic
    • This is cheap plastic
    • The one that most recently arrived was cheap plastic, a rounded shape.
    • Take that silly plastic piece off of the wand
    • You get what you paid for - Cheap plastic - the plastic cap that covers the lid broke instantly - I have used it three times and the on/ off/ steamer knob will be the next to go very shortly
    • Cheap plastic, bad fit, just not what it appears on the screen.
    • I immediately noticed that the control knob became difficult to turn as soon as the machine heated up (possibly from internal expansion of the flimsy plastic parts)
    • Turn knob is flimsy plastic
    • The construction is cheap plastic (thus minus one star)
    • The problem is the plastic that is used to attach the knob.
    • This version is cheap plastic
    • Works great so far, the espresso coffee grounds holder when put on seems not as sturdy plastic as the old Mr
    • The switch has rough operation and the body is flimsy plastic.
    • I'm sure the cheap plastic handle will not last long on account of it
    • If it could be made out of the thinnest, most brittle plastic, it was
    • The little plastic piece that broke off has to be in place in order for it to work.
    • The plastic is very cheap, I'm afraid that the handle will break within a week or two because it jams every time you try to install it into its port for usage
    • This is a poor designbecause the plastic is not strong enough to withstand the tightening motion needed to secure the holder.
    • Not only is it made from cheap plastic, it has no auto shutoff, no way to tell how much water is already inside, and will burn your hand when you try to open it back up to add more water for frothing milk
    • It's a shiny, lightweight plastic housing, no cup rest/warmer on top, and the lid and knob are very smooth, with minimal grooves (unlike the one pictured
    • Everything else seems way cheaper feeling, lighter duty, thin, cheap shiny plastic, flimsy and just cheap
    • I do not like the new style milk frothers, with the hard plastic sleeve, even with the gasket (even Krups uses this style now)
    • This one ism made out of cheap plastic, has a top that is difficult to secure and remove
    • Like burnt plastic.
    • The knob to turn on the machine and the lid to water well are dome shaped, made of slick plastic and a little difficult/awkward to grip and turn.
    • But has a lingering burnt plastic taste and smell
    • But this model is made of thin plastic connecting the knob to the internal on/off switch and the thin plastic is obviously not strong enough to withstand normal turning on/off
    • The cheap plastic knob doesn't turn well and steam comes out of the side of it
    • everything works as it is specified in the Amazon page
    • Works as it should.
    • I will not recommend this as it makes terrible espresso.
    • Your espresso will also come out not as strong as it should
    • This is the second Bella Espresso maker I have purchased... the first one lasted a little more than 4 years before the control knob broke off as I turned it to steam.
    • and I love i
    • So great for my morning coffee (my husband doesn't drink any) and I can get it as strong as I like.
