Excellent display replaced my wife's old one that died

very easy to set up, great display, and easy to adjust the volume, brightness, etc

Color quality is acceptable and not quite as accurate as my MacBook Retina Display, though the black levels on the BenQ are the deepest I have ever seen on a matte monitor

Even at zero brightness and with nvidia controller brightness set low, this display still needs a software dimmer to give the best results...and then the contrast and color does definitely suffer.- There does seem to be some light along the edges of the monitor, not sure if its just glare from the bezels but it's very distracting
